MicroMetrics Expands Epitaxial Services

Londonderry, NH -- MicroMetrics, Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductor devices for commercial and military communications, announced the expansion of its epitaxial growth and coating services for the semiconductor fabrication market. The newly expanded Londonderry, NH facility now includes seven Gemini Epi reactors.

This dedicated business unit supports the growing of three, four and five inch silicon wafers and will soon be offering products to meet the demands of the six inch market. To support the facility expansion, MicroMetrics has made several new hires with experience in epitaxial growth, including engineers, sales and technical reactor operations personnel.

The MicroMetrics epitaxial service uses silicon materials with single, double or triple layers being grown through a CVD process. The company is offering full service on research and development projects through large production orders.
